Sex Worker Integrated Support and Health (SWISH) is dedicated to the health and safety of sex workers in Oakland. We center the voices and needs of, and are run by, current and former sex workers.

SWISH is a project of the Berkeley Free Clinic HIV Prevention Unit, and collaborates with BAWS (Bay Area Worker Support), St. James Infirmary and San Francisco Sex Worker Film and Art Festival.

Our mission is to create access to resources and care by and for sex workers, rather than relying on agencies that do not understand our specific needs, or who pathologize us. We exist to create space and efforts towards safety, health and healing for all kinds of sex workers living in a further criminalizing culture. Sex workers deserve dignity, care and support for agency and self determination.
